Ajax Enthusiasts have been banned by UEFA by the Champions League game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on November 5 after crowd trouble in their fixture in Valencia.
The ban comes after a sentence imposed against Benfica last season.
Ajax were handed a fine of $50,000 (Number 43,200) for its disturbances, and cautioned a further one-match ban may be imposed on selling tickets to their away fans if they violate during a predetermined period of one year;
An additional fine of $18,000 (#15,500) was handed to the side for’improper behavior of their team’.
Ajax have requested information and possess the right.
A statement on the club’s website, saId:”UEFA has dominated on the events with Ajax supporters at Valencia-Ajax and also the suspended sentence imposed following Benfica-Ajax last season.
“The biggest sanction is that Chelsea vs Ajax is going to be played on November 5 without (off ) fans.”
