Eddie Hearn has questioned whether Tyson Fury can fulfil his aspirations of regaining a world title after taking’easy’ struggles.
Former world champion Fury claims following 28, it will establish a rematch against WBC titleholder Deontay Wilder and faces Otto Wallin on Saturday at vegas.
“Fury has simple struggles that nobody is interested in,” explained Anthony Joshua’s promoter Hearn. “He supposed to be the best heavyweight in the world? Nobody is speaking about his struggle.
“The interest in Fury is diminishing. It’s what’s occurred and nearly a year since he battled Wilder? Nothing.”
Asked if Fury might be enticed to combat Joshua finally, Hearn explained:”Fury is a rival and can be up for a fight, however, he’s having fights where he cannot get beaten. His profile will dip and his hunger might also.”
Has been critical of Fury’s decision.
Joshua stated:”I struggled Wallin as an amateur. [Fury and Wilder ] are the cream of their crop and shouldn’t be battling with those type of people. I can not fight Wallin, ” I don’t think I could ever combat lower-tier heavyweights.”
Fury defeated Tom Schwarz in 2 rounds following a draw with Wilder, in his latest fight.
Sweden’s Wallin is unbeaten in 21 fights, and will be removed from his best outcome, a victory against his countryman Adrian Granat.
“Otto had a great camp and could not be in a much better physical or mental condition,” his promoter Dmitriy Salita told Sky Sports.
“He’s coming to shock the entire world – and he’s in the mental condition to get it done.”
Wallin said:”[Fury] can do anything he wants in terms of taking me seriously or not.
“Fury showed a great chin and a lot of heart in that struggle [from Wilder], but maybe those shots have taken something from him”
