Very similar to his final fight, Fury will be the odds on favorite (best price 1/25) and should be far too much for his capable but overmatched opponent. As a punter it is easy to get disheartened with the newest competitions of Fury, not least because they create when the markets are still so unapproachable, punting more difficult. ???? But, there is some significance to be had in this fight to flip our pennies into fat.
Last time outwe found a much more spiteful and aggressive Fury. He revealed footwork and his elusiveness but revealed a more offensive style that has not always been Fury’s way. Some of that will be down into Tom Schwarz’s limitations allowing Fury to tee off. He is more capable than Fury competition, although otto Wallin is overmatched. The Swede is a southpaw and sound, though unspectacular. Including dropping to Anthony Joshua on points, he received a variety of amateur bouts under his belt prior to turning pro. His opponent should be comfortably dealt with by fury . however, it should present more of a contest than his previous bout.
Despite the screen against Schwarz, Fury hasn’t become a large punching heavyweight overnight and that he takes a little more time to break his opposition down. ?? Of his last 12 stoppage victories, 8’ve come after the fourth round. This battle looks like it will follow that trend and then mind to even the later rounds and possibly the middle. Tyson Fury in the second half of the struggle (rounds 7-12) is a good price (15/8 with Sky Bet); as is Fury to acquire in rounds 5-8 (21/10 together with Paddy Power) or rounds 7-9 (7/2 with Betfred). Even the 15/8 on a 6 round spread feels a better cost considering Wallin will offer offensively and defensively.
Away from the battle, there’s a punt to be inserted on an underdog. Ryan Garcia is an highly rated young fighter who has developed a following. However, his self-promoting Instagram drives much of the following and boyband looks rather than his boxing. There has been evidence of some footage of him fighting and defects in his design already. He’s taken a step this weekend up in fighting with Avery Sparrow, who got 11 fights but has beaten the demanding and skilled Henry Lundy already. There was 14/1 floating about on Sparrow; unfortunately that price has gonebut 10/1 is still available (Sporting Bet) and can be well worth a nibble about the angry.
