However, how does it all work?
Eight new mens and womens teams, representing seven towns from around the united kingdom, will compete against one another in the tournament that is new.
The arrangement of games? Essentially, its 100 balls each team, and whoever scores the most runs wins.
The England players have been drafted – Ben Stokes is currently going to the Leeds-based Northern Superchargers, although Heather Knight has been picked by Lords-based London Spirit.
The eight teams may take it in turns to pick a player to complete their own squads, and they will have 100 seconds to make their choice.
There are just seven set salary bands, with as much as two players # 100,000 # 125,000, # 75,000, # 60,000, # 50,000, # 40,000 and # 30,000. Captains will be given a bonus of #10,000.
Each team may have three overseas players along with 2icons .
Australians Steve Smith, both Warner and Mitchell Starc are in the price bracket, combined with Kagiso Rabada of South Africa, Sri Lanka bowler Malinga and West Indies batsman Gayle.
If a participant is not picked at their base price, then they wont be selected from the draft – that they can, nevertheless, be called up because of an injury replacement for another participant throughout the tournament.
When teams could provide a participant that has caught their eye in the previous T20 Blast contest a # 30,000 contract the spot from the teams will soon likely be filled following summer.
Each team has already picked two girls.
Stage two of the participant selection process (1 October 2019 – 30 May 2020) for the womens match will observe each team fill the remaining 13 spaces within their group from across three player pools: the rest England centrally contracted players, overseas players and domestic players.
Teams may sign one further player contracted during phase two and can sign a maximum of three players that are overseas.
The seven wages mounts of the women are: # 12,000 # 1 15,000, # 9,000, # 7,200, # 6,000, # 4,800 and 3,600. The captains will receive a #1,200 bonus.
The contest will start and runs from 17 July to 16 August 2020.
Therell be 32 league matches in complete with groups playing one another after – apart from their pairedrivals, whom they satisfy twice (home and away).
The paired rivals include: Leeds and Manchester, the two London teams, both Birmingham and Nottingham and Southampton and Cardiff.
The top three teams after the league matches will compete at a Finals Day. While moment and third for the remaining spot will play, the top group goes through to the closing.
BBC iPlayer along with the BBC Sport website will sponsor text commentary and a live flow together with analysis from internationals Ryan Sidebottom, Graham Onions and Ebony Rainford-Brent.
The next summer, the BBC will have live television coverage of the games of 10 men and around eight live games from the tournament, including both finals of the women.
There will also be live TV coverage of two one England womens T20 international and England mens global T20 matches.
It amounts to – appropriately – 100 hours back on BBC tv, also.
