Tammy Abraham Needs Chelsea to take their Champions League”anger” out on Liverpool in Super Sunday’s huge Premier League clash on Sky Sports.
The Blues were beaten 1-0 at home by Valencia in their Group H fixture on Tuesday night after Ross Barkley missed a late penalty for Frank Lampard’s side.
But Abraham – that has surfaced as Chelsea’s first-choice striker for first time this season – immediately looked ahead live on Sky Sports Premier League and played the defeat.
“(Sunday) is a test of character. We can take out our anger from Liverpool,” he explained in Stamford Bridge.
“It’s a gigantic game and the two groups will be going to triumph. We are going to look forward to putting (tonight’s conquer ) right.
“It is still early doors (from the Champions League). We are fuming we. But there is still five matches to go – .
“We are definitely disappointed. We did not play our very best football. Valencia came and stopped us playing the way we wanted so you’ve got to give credit to .
“We’re going to have a great deal of ups and downs in a season. We have got to move on and never dwell on it.”
Abraham is one of academy scholars who’ve been given a chance under Lampard this season and hailed the financing of his team.
“I must provide it (my personal form) into the team and players,” he explained. “I had a little problem against Liverpool in which I missed a punishment myself and from there they just encouraged me and believed in me.
“I’m playing with these excellent players that create opportunities, so I just have to be in the ideal place at the ideal time. It is always great to understand supervisor believes in you. Every game that you wish to do your very best for him personally.”
