Jed Wallace spanned a victory at the Liberty Stadium for Millwall over Swansea.
The Lions forwards found the upper corner with a set-piece strike after 65 minutes to secure a win of the season for the side of Gary Rowett.
Since taking over in October, the Millwall manager matches.
The defeat meant it was home woe for Swansea, who have lost four times in the Liberty Stadium this season.
Swans manager Steve Cooper called an unchanged side for the match.
The Swans form prompted Rowett to earn a change that was defensive. While Tom Bradshaw fell to make room for Connor 26, alex Pearce came in place of midfielder Jayson Molumby into a rear three.
The Lions played the ball wide for Andre Ayew and should have been behind in only the second minute following Bersant Celina charged across the halfway point.
The Ghanaians ball across the box fell perfectly for Nathan Dyer, but he failed to place his feet and saw the ball siphoned off and go between his legs.
Jon Dadi Bodvarsson led wide as Millwall recovered in their frighten and started to ditch the Swans along with their defensive business.
Mahoney was the next to threaten before half-time when he overcome Jake Bidwell all ends up and pressured Freddie Woodman. As the teams went in level at 20, jed Wallace raced onto the loose ball but can only shoot over.
Cooper reacted to his side showing.
Bartosz Bialkowski raced outside to block his attempt to maintain it goalless, although the conclusion paid off when Shaun Hutchinson switched and taken.
And the Swans were made to pay after Mike van der Hoorn because he threatened to get at the end of a ball downfield tangled with Wallace.
Referee Andy Davies blew to get a free-kick and booked the Swansea defender, before Wallace found the upper corner from 20 yards out and dusted off himself.
Davies had the following large call to make in the last 10 minutes when George Byers appeared to pull on Jiri Skalek down in the box to stop him getting to Wallaces cross. But the Millwall protests were waved off by the referee.
Sam Surridge flicked the ball over the defence to provide a clear sight on goal in the final moments to substitute Borja Baston, as Millwall held on to triumph but the Spanish strikers lob went agonisingly wide.
