There is two that really stand out for me at the ITV opener, especially with companies offering four locations.
Rosadora (11/1) has been conducting some fairly solid races this year, but has crept under the radar a little. She was last seen finishing a Few lengths behind Rose along with Graceful Magic of Kildare. She finished a close runner-up at this course in Doncaster. Others seem vulnerable.
Company Mix (15/2) has produced a couple of decent runs of late, and this two year old ought to keep progressing. Even though she finished second to Lover Powerful final workout, there were some good horses behind, such as Caspian Queen, who has since beaten Graceful Magic.
It takes a brave punter to take in Doncaster on the favourite in the next race. A month, after breaking her duck over this space at Goodwood she had been impressive. Despite giving weight to every one of her younger competitors, if a similar attempt awakens she’ll be far too good for this field.
Considering Andy Holding’s record in two year-old races, this could be just only for him. There are.
The first is Rayong who finished a distant second on Mums Tipple. Not many horses could have paired Mums Tipple’s run so there’s no embarrassment coming next. The two-year-old has put in a run contrary to Liberty Beach this year, and still beat some horses, a horse I hold in high regard. Appears Ranked with companies paying 5 places.
The next horse I like is Storm. I think bookies are too quick to judge this horse. The two year-old went against the much talked about Threat back May. He’s since completed a close second and third. May be of a lot longer really capable. Worth a wager at 18/1.
Cloak Of Spirits (5/2) didn’t have the easiest of outings at Ascot, but still won without difficulty. This form was promoted by a few in behind. She also holds an entry in the Group 1 Fillies Mile. She must be good for this field.
