There is really three who I believe have a chance of finishing within the six locations on offer. The major one from that trio will be DAZZLING DAN (greatest price 12-1). The three-year-old narrowly beat Oxted last time out and contains expertise running in huge fields. He finished third to Pass Your Vino in July, which form has worked out nicely.
I believe MUSICKA (best price 40-1) might be slightly overlooked in this one, particularly with the amount of place terms on offer. The five-year-old has put in some decent displays this season, also conducted fifth in that year. He has finished second to Dakota Royal, Lahore along with Gold Prospect.
COPPER KNIGHT (best price 33-1) has been carrying on the big boys this past year, and should have a chance from this discipline. He finished close despite finishing fifth to Battaash in York. Can easily out perform these chances.
DURSTON (best price 4-1) – Non Runner
SHINE SO BRIGHT (best price 8-11) produced an absolute belter when beating Laurens at the City Of York, and to be honest there is nothing in this race in precisely exactly the same league as Laurens. Regardless of the penalty, if Shine can replicate that operate, he should win pretty comfortably.
LETHAL LUNCH (best price 13-2) did not get a rush when moving back to turf in Ascot. He comes back to the all-weather and looks to have a likelihood of scoring a second triumph. He had been last seen with this back in August, at which he beat Diocles of Rome. He’s two on the all-weather from three, so I’ll be shocked to see him from those places.
Another one to keep an eye on is ARBALET (best cost 6-1), he might be winless this season but has confronted to a few tricky tasks. He’s a whole lot lower in the ratings and has been attempted on the all-weather for the first time. An interesting prospect.
THREAT (best price 6-5) should relish this step up in trip, and so for me is the one to conquer. He returned to winning ways from the Gimrack. His two losses to date have come from Golden Horde and Arizona, therefore no real embarrassment there.
LOGICIAN (best price 11-10) has proven no reason why you need to oppose him in the final classic of the season. The son of Frankel is still unbeaten, he won at York with simplicity and the few furlongs shouldn’t be a issue. There are serious question marks surrounding quite a few in this area, but I believe Sir Ron Priestley may be well worth a bet without the favourite.
