Southampton shield Wesley Hoedt has combined Belgian Pro League side Royal Antwerp.
The loan agreement also has an option to buy at the end of the campaign.
Hoedt combined Southampton from Lazio at August 2017 for a fee in the region of #15m and made 32 appearances throughout his debut season.
The 25-year-old joined Celta Vigo on loan, but had been deemed surplus to requirements by the Austrian and made a 13 appearances last year before the arrival of boss Ralph Hasenhuttl at St Mary’s.
The Netherlands will join up with former Everton ahead Kevin Mirallas in Antwerp, who sit ninth in the table following a defeat in Saido Berahino’s Zulte Waregem on Sunday.
The Saints will also be set to loan outside midfielder Mario Lemina after taking a bid from Turkish side Galatasaray.
