On June 30th, the last day of this Mortal Kombat 11 Tournament at CEO 2019, Dominique”SonicFox” McLean won the championship in a 3-1 victory against longtime rival, Ryan”Dragon” Walker.
After suffering a 3-0 loss against Dragon from the semi-finals, SonicFox confronted a tall challenge in winning his way towards the top: he had to fight his way into the top of this”Losers” ladder, then face off against the finalist of the”Winners” ladder in two sets of three out of five matches (whereas Dragon, the”Winners” finalist, would only have to win the first match to claim the title.) Regardless of the disadvantageous chances, SonicFox defeated Dragon in two 3-1 victories and got himself the top spot in the tournament– using the same character he utilized in his loss against Dragon from the semi-finals, Cassie Cage. This is his eleventh victory in a long string of won championships and his second MK11 championship because the release of this game.
