Olympic gymnastics champion Simone Biles has expressed her pain after the arrest of her brother that was charged.
Police in Ohio say after being indicted on murder, manslaughter and other charges in a New Year’s Eve party shooting Tevin Biles-Thomas was arrested in Georgia.
Authorities in Cleveland say when a bunch of men came back into a party, the shooting happened just before the conclusion of 2018.
Three men were wounded.
“My heart aches for everybody involved, especially for the victims and their families,” tweeted Biles.
“There is not anything that I can say that will cure anybody’s pain, but I do want to express my sincere condolences to everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.
“I ask everyone to please honor my family’s privacy as we deal with our pain”
Biles, who won 4 gold medals is the most decorated US gymnast.
