Saeed bin Suroor will stay patient using Raaeb, that made a winning debut at Doncaster last week.
The Raven’s Pass colt was shipped off the favourite against rivals who had attained a level of shape and it was simple for the mount of Jim Crowley, but the Godolphin trainer is already thinking .
“He’s a great colt, and he has always demonstrated a thing in the morning,” explained Bin Suroor.
“We’ve no plans right now due to him. We are going to start looking for a race – but he is a horse who is going since he showed plenty of ability to be fine later on.
“I’ve always enjoyed him, but we need to see another time he conducts. He will have yet another race, and then we will look to next year .”
Another rookie won for the yard at Chelmsford – that the three-year-old filly Perfect Number.
“My three-year-olds have been backward, and now they are all set to conduct,” said Bin Suroor.
“At this time we could observe that she has skill. I don’t think we will take her to Dubai – it is more likely she’ll stay in England.
“We’ll look for yet another race for her, maybe two, until we set her away”
