Nottingham Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi Was named the Sky Bet Championship Manager of the Month for September.
Lamouchi added two and has made Forest hard to conquer sheets during the entire month, which place the bases to 1-0 wins over Swansea and Barnsley.
Was revealed in Stoke at the 3-2 win, adding up to a nine points .
Lamouchi said:I am quite proud and happy because that which we have done in September was just incredible. Thanks to the team , to the fans for the support not to mention the team, however the players they did a very terrific job and since the difference is made by them.
We had three matches in September but in the last six games we took 16 points, this isnt nothing; it is wonderful. Now keep working to maintain this rhythm and we need to keep moving. We know its very difficult but weve given the players a lot of break as they deserved it, but we will start and concentrate on the most crucial game for the lovers against Derby and Wigan, Hull Luton.
It is a good moment and we will enjoy it but we know the trip is long and hard. We are aware that we will confront some bad moments but we have to keep workingout. We will love now because whats done is done, and now we will focus on the future and that is Wigan away.
Wigan Athletic defender Chey Dunkley has been called the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month for September.
Dunkleys three goals in as many matches proved equally as vital as his controlling presence in defence.
Against Charlton, his ability was showcased by them , too, with a header and a well-timed volley.
Dunkley said:I am really pleased to acquire at the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for September. This was an OK month for the group in terms of results and on an individual level obtaining the three aims was fine.
Ive been working on that part of the match [scoring goals by set-pieces] together with our first-team trainer Anthony Barry, therefore it is pleasing to begin reaping the rewards.
Manager: Fleetwood, Joey Barton
Fleetwood Town manager Joey Barton was named the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month for September.
It was a month for Fleetwood, with their 10 points from four unbeaten matches matched by 10 goals, three at each of the away games in Southend and Shrewsbury. Barton has bedded in his summertime.
Barton explained:It is really nice that people get outside recognition for the work that we have done. The players are tremendous this season, and this award is for our employees that work hard every day across our divisions.
I think the award is a major vindication for all of the work that everybody has done and I collect this for everybody at the soccer club.
There is a good deal of trust in the health of the planet, and everybody believes they have a role to playwith, from the kitchen staff, to the folks who do exactly the grass, to the laundry area, all.
Player: Jonson Clarke-Harris, Bristol Rovers
Bristol Rovers striker Jonson Clarke-Harris was called the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month for September.
It wasnt just his five goals in five matches, including a spectacular overhead kick from Accrington, that stood out, but the fact that each of his attempts proved to be either an equaliser or the target which gave Rovers a lead.
Clarke-Harris explained:I am delighted to win this award on the rear of what was a good month for both the group and also myself. On the pitch the lads clicked During September and we are now striving to carry this momentum .
The purpose against Accrington was likely my own highlight. The next thing I knew the ball was in the back of the net, but it just sort of happened although I could remember how I ended up trying the bicycle kick! It has been a fine month and now we look to build on that across the approaching games.
Supervisor: Michael Duff, Cheltenham
Cheltenham Town director Michael Duff was appointed the Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month.
The foundations Duff laid season have been built on. Traditionally strong in the home, it had been the Robins 2-0 successes at Salford and Plymouth which attested that his tactical nous, making 13 points from five games.
Duff said:The team are just a reflection of what the players perform. Its obviously a wonderful award but its more for the whole club really because the board, the staff, the supporters, the players – and Ive always said it – if the team on the pitch are doing well and winning, we all win.
Its a nice award to acquire but I believe it is more a indication of admiration that other individuals beyond Cheltenham are beginning to recognise the work thats been happening for a long time.
Player: James Clarke, Walsall
Walsall defender James Clarke was called the Sky Bet League 2 Player of the Month.
Central defenders are not supposed just like his thunderbolt at Crawley or his late winner against Scunthorpe. As Walsall kept four clean sheets in five 18, the existence of clarke was also critical at the trunk.
Clarke explained:Im thrilled to win the award. It is the very first time that Ive won something like this in my career and winning that a lot is meant by it.
To pick up three wins and three clean sheets was a wonderful effort from the team and also to bring a few goals to that too was that the cherry on top of everything.
