GoBowling at The Glen gets underway Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on the historic road course at Watkins Glen. Kyle Busch is the Vegas favorite, getting NASCAR. Kevin Harvick and Martin Truex Jr. are each 4-1, with nobody else closer than 8-1. You have to find out what Micah Roberts must say before you lock in your 2018 NASCAR in Watkins Glen selections.
Roberts was the first to provide expanded NASCAR gambling. Now he hands out his followers winners.
Roberts was over Busch a week at Pocono, pointing to not just his 26 career starts at the track, but also his motivation to win after a late bulge from Harvick the week earlier. Busch rallied in the place.
Before this season, Roberts was all-in on Harvick in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 despite the two other drivers using the exact same field-leading odds. The end result: Harvick dominated, resulting in 181 of 325 laps and cruising to victory from 2.69 seconds.
Also this season, Roberts was high on Clint Bowyer at the STP 500, where he snapped his 190-race winless streak. And in the Food City 500he said Busch”possessed” Bristol and could come off with the checkered flag — he rallied to finish only .63 seconds before Kyle Larson to the checkered flag.
In the 2017 playoffs, Roberts chose nine of the 10 winners. There was no fluke: In 2016, he advised readers to back Denny Hamlin in. The end result: Hamlin edged Truex Jr. for the checkered flag. Later that year, roberts nailed Hamlin to succeed at Watkins Glen.
Now, he has analyzed the 2018 GoBowling in the Glen area, NASCAR’s second road-track stop this season, from every possible angle and then locked in his picks. You can view his projected leaderboard at SportsLine.
We can tell you he’s not picking Busch to win NASCAR in Watkins Glen 2018 even though four road-course wins under his belt, tops among all active drivers.
One driver Roberts is high on: Bowyer, who’s getting 12-1 odds for Watkins Glen.
