Kell Brook and Amir Khan’s evasive fight will be given”one more roll of the dice” from promoter Eddie Hearn.
The world champions were unable to agree that a grudge game – most recently in April when negotiations fell through because Khan lost, and ultimately instead decided to challenge Terence Crawford.
“I still want to make that struggle. I’ll give it one more roll of the dice,” Hearn said.
“I will tell them’Men, spring 2020, let us do it’.
“Hopefully we can get it over the line”
Khan blew away Billy Dib in four weeks but Brook has not fought since December when he outpointed Michael Zerafa.
“He would like to fight in December,” Hearn said concerning Brook that has lately returned to instruction in Sheffield.
“He wants the big struggles. He has been there and done it, he wishes to have those fights, and he feels like he’s got a few left.
“He strove to make the Terence Crawford fight, 147lbs remains tough for him he can do it with the ideal amount of preparation and time.
“He still has the appetite, and wants to knock out a particular Mr Khan.
“We’ll find out if we could get it over the line.”
Khan mentioned settling his score before his latest fight.
“The Brook battle remains on the market, definitely,” Khan explained. “In Britain it would be a huge fight.”
Brook was made to deny rumours that he’d retired.
“we would like to combat Crawford,” Brook submitted on social media. “All these are the level of struggles that get me excited and I’d only ever need to bow out on a top.
“If these huge fights could be created, then I’d like nothing more than to dancing again under those bright lights.”
