Andrew Balding is excited about stepping Kameko upwards after the lightly-raced colt ran Favorable Stakes.
The Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes over a mile in Newmarket on September 28 is the target of Kitten’s Joy despite his inexperience.
He’s got the right to move up to Group Two company thanks to a nice effort on just his second career in regular start that saw him end with a boom.
“I was really pleased with him. He’s come from this race very well and we will consider the Royal Lodge,” said Balding.
“He is in that, so it’ll be a consideration. A mile will suit him”
