Hull KR have announced that ever-changing Josh Drinkwater will depart the club in the conclusion of the year, together with James Greenwood and forward Chris Atkin.
The departures of Atkin and Greenwood was anticipated and the former has secured a contract with Salford for 2020.
But the departure of Drinkwater was unexpected with his half-back spouse Danny McGuire retiring.
Drinkwater has started every match for Rovers since joining them in Catalans Dragons on a one-year deal at the start of the season.
Atkin has a bit-part part for much of the effort, while Greenwood has been sidelined since March with a serious knee injury.
Hull KR head coach Tony Smith, who signed a brand new three-year contract at the weekend, also said:”I’ve enjoyed my time with three of those young men in terms of working alongside them.
“Regrettably, I have not had a chance to trainer James but he’s been a pleasure around the area and a specialist in terms of how he has been rehabbing.
“Chris and Josh are tremendous and I wish them well in their careers.”
Drinkwater and Atkin are set to play their game for the Robins in Craven Park from London Broncos on Friday when the Yorkshire club have a opportunity to procure their Super League survival – live on Sky Sports.
Meanwhile, the Atkin and his older Swinton boss Ian Watson will link up when he unites with the Red Devils in the close of the season.
“I am quite excited,” he said. “Watto was that the person who brought me at Swinton and gave me my very professional debut.
“Since then, I’ve always wanted to work with him and this possibility has come up and I am really anticipating it and feeling decided to get back to it.
“He’s a very fantastic coach and he’s demonstrated that again this season.”
