Fulham face Charlton at the Sky Bet Championship on Saturday, live on Sky Sports Football.
Fulham manager Scott Parker reported no fresh selection concerns before the Sky Bet Championship game against Charlton. The Cottagers won 4-1 at Reading on Tuesday night to extend their unbeaten run to five games.
Midfielder Harry Arter returned into the beginning line-up and defender at the Madejski Stadium Denis Odoi and forward Bobby Decordova-Reid. Ivan Cavaleiro, Harrison Reed and steven Sessegnon, though, could be in contention again having been replacements.
Charlton will check on Chuks Aneke before the visit to Craven Cottage. Aneke came on as a substitute in Wednesday nights 2-1 home defeat by Swansea, but picked up a busted difficulty so will be evaluated.
Defender Ben Purrington was pushed off in The Valley. Top scorer Lyle Taylor (knee) continues his recovery, combined with forward Tomer Hemed (thigh), midfielder Beram Kayal (groin) and shield Lewis Page (Achilles).
After a combined beginning, Fulham have got to the groove in the last month and are unbeaten in all competitions since departing the Carabao Cup following defeat to Southampton on August 27. Last workout, they thumped Reading 4-1 and, four days before, ran out 2-0 winners against Wigan. Following a run of three draws those two successes came.
The Addicks form has been completely contrasting. In the first weeks, Lee Bowyers encouraged negative were winning matches left, centre and right, but because celebrity man Lyle Taylor suffered an accident they have endured. On Tuesdaythey lost to Swansea however a brilliant win at home to Leeds arrived between beats and that to Wigan and Birmingham.
Fulham boss Scott Parker:I have been back as a player and got a lot of stick because I left on bad terms. I understood the fans disappointment because we flew once I left, doing well, and that had been a large part of it at the moment. I went and saw Charlton from Swansea…heading back to the Valley and seeing some old faces there.
This is a club that was a massive portion of my life and a club which I owe a lot to. It gave me the opportunity to become the player I did. It gave me a opportunity to reveal what I could do under Alan Curbishley. It nurtured me and gave me a number of these core values I have now. I maintain Charlton in nothing but high regard.
Charlton boss Lee Bowyer:Its a tough challenge. Theyre among the favourites to find advertising, that is their anticipation I presume. For me they have the best squad in the branch. A great deal of Premier League players that are seasoned, A lot of Premier League players.
Defensively, were going to get to be correct, we are going to have to do the defensive side of the sport very well and after that once we do that we must move the ball immediately. Nothing changes from our side.
When Lee Bowyer guided Charlton to League One play-off glory back in May, it is reasonable to say many Addicks fans would not have expected to see them hanging in the top half of this Championship, where they had not been seen as the 2015/16 effort.
What is even more surprising is that Lee Bowyer – that was conducting a fishing industry in France a few years ago – stays even though coming near leaving The Valley following a issues. Saturdays London derby offers an perfect stage, although the brilliant start was slowed due to an injury to star striker Lyle Taylor.
Fulham are unbeaten in their last 10 games against Charlton in most contests (W5 D5 L0) since a 2-1 defeat in December 2004 at the Premier League.
Charlton are winless in 12 away matches against Fulham in most competitions (W0 D3 L9), losing their final three visits with an aggregate score of 10-0.
Fulham have won 16 of their last 20 home Championship matches (such as play-offs), losing only once in that run (W16 D3 L1).
Charlton havent lost successive league matches losing in League One to Barnsley and Coventry.
Fulham have lost only one of the past 10 London derbies from the Championship (W5 D4 L1), a 3-1 defeat to Brentford at December 2017.
Charlton have won their last three league London derbies – they still have not won four consecutively since under Alan Curbishley.
Fulham blew Reading away in midweek, and probably could have done even though John Swift had not been shipped off in 1-0. Theyll do this to teams this year that provide space to perform to them.
Charlton will not. Theyll be up for this at Craven Cottage and eager to bounce back from their defeat, having taken the lead against Swansea. Score attraction for me.
David Prutton predicts: 2-2 (16/1 with Sky Bet)
