Avid and Victoria Beckham have struck at fake news created by societal media that caused fevered online speculation the couple are to divorce.
Claims the few were to split started circulating on Twitter on Friday morning as well as prompted a high street bookmakers to suspend betting on those getting a divorce.
But suggestions of a’Bexit’ – a disbanding of Britain’s greatest celebrity manufacturer – were scoffed at by the bunch.
The rumours were denied by the Beckhams, clearly exasperated by the speed with which the net can relay gossip as truth but unchecked.
