Crystal Palace have contested claims created by Gemma Bryan after falling victim that she wasn’t supported by the team.
Bryan chose to media on Friday to describe her situation and has not played since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament tear in April.
The 32-year-old, who has scored over 100 goals for the south east London club said she has received”zero communication” from Crystal Palace Women and has been made to await operation through the NHS.
Bryan said she’s”devastated” that another player at the club has received club support and backing after suffering from precisely exactly the identical injury but Crystal Palace Ladies say her assertions are incorrect.
“Gemma’s claim another player with a similar harm has received different levels of treatment and support is factually wrong,” a Crystal Palace Women’s statement read.
“Gemma remained totally compensated, outside the terms of her agreement, prior to the end of the season when her registration naturally expired.
“She was also offered on-going continued accessibility to rehabilitation support past the conclusion of last year”
