As Trent along with Roberto Firmino’s header gave them control in the interval klopp’s name pace-setters appeared on track to acquire in comfort.
Chelsea, who was denied an equaliser when VAR ruled out for offside Cesar Azpilicueta attempt, have been in no mood and made Liverpool fight every inch of the best way to keep that perfect record.
Tammy Abraham had chances to improve his tally of seven goals this season, especially when he was refused by Liverpool keeper Adrian when clean through at the first half, but it had been left to N’Golo Kante to set up a grandstand finish with a superb strike with 19 minutes to perform.

Liverpool stay unstoppable in their Premier League duel with Manchester City when they are supposed to maintain the big prize in the conclusion of the 37, all prospective champions need to secure.
The side of jurgen Klopp have made a tradition of releasing an blitz on opponents in a remarkable streak of only 1 league loss since the start of last season.
This was different.
Liverpool might have appeared to have been on cruise control but Chelsea were in this match and pressed against the league leaders directly before the last whistle.
They were sloppy than usual were far below their best and on events looked excruciating – but they emerged victorious by what’s traditionally one of the very hazardous away assignments about the calendar.
Over the span of a campaign, a year Liverpool will expect will finish their 30-year wait to get the name, it’s victories on days when competitions are ignored, such as this that will be critical, or more so, than the days.
Klopp’s delight at the final whistle, compared to some of the expressions of fury during the game, said everything.
This has been a crucial victory. Liverpool’s bandwagon rolls on.
Chelsea have to win at home in the Premier League and Champions League this year, and no defeat by Liverpool is anything besides an acutely distressing encounter.
And yet, despite this reduction coming hard on the heels of their home defeat by Valencia in their opening Champions League group match, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will take comfort and assurance.
This is a new Chelsea, being built in a style by Lampard, as well as working on youngsters like Fikayo Tomori, Mason Mount and Abraham.
After Liverpool went up two during the header of Firmino VAR had overruled after poor marking at a free-kick, the target coming moments, it would have been easy for Chelsea’s minds.
Nothing pressurised and could have been further from the truth since they pushed Liverpool prior to receiving a warm and appreciative ovation in the Chelsea 29, before the final whistle.
Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga might have maintained them in it using a save from Firmino however Chelsea, driven by the Kante, were left cursing those missed opportunities for Batshuayi along with Mount that could have made them some time.
No Chelsea conquer is not hard to shoot, particularly against Liverpool, but that was a performance that will give encouragement and hope to Lampard.

On VAR:”We’ve got to get on with it. It’s a sad matter for your celebration and the second but that is where we’re at, when we are searching for decisions. The air in the crowd affects . We are slightly deflated and they get a boost. We deserved to be level at that point.”
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp:”The first half was tough work. It is all about momentum in games like this and I think we have that in the first half. We scored two goals that were fantastic and we could have scored straight after half time . We deserved the three points, it is difficult to win here.”
“We are just here. Chelsea, six games in. So we have to carry on, we haven’t won anything . We have to be prepared for each opponent. They are all waiting and would like to give us a bang , rightly so, but we need to be prepared to do what we must do.”
