Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has attracted from the England squad with a back injury.
Later returning to his team for therapy wan-Bissaka, who’d been called up to England side will overlook the European Qualifiers from Kosovo and Bulgaria.
Gareth Southgate, the England manager, doesn’t have plans to call up a replacement with Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier from the today 24-man squad.
It comes as a setback for the 21-year-old who was looking to receive his first taste of senior football.
Southgate made the Kyle Walker of Manchester City, first-choice right-back, to provide an chance to find to Wan-Bissaka and Alexander-Arnold.
Trippier, who was left out of the Nations League squad of England, was introduced back in the fold after his move to Atletico Madrid.
“We are really looking at him (Wan-Bissaka) and Trent (Alexander-Arnold) – that is why, on this occasion, Kyle Walker’s not with us – we think it’s an opportunity to have a look at just 2 young players,” said Southgate.
“We spoke about the number of games we have got before next summer, we think we will need to see them quickly and we wanted to reintegrate Kieran Trippier back into the group so he understands he’s still on our radar.
“He’s had a huge move to Atletico Madrid, frankly, that moves under the radar here – and has started the season really well. It is a place of the pitch we have a good deal of quality.
“Kyle Walker has begun the season very well so I’ve clarified the rationale . They all have completely different strengths and we’re looking forward to helping a few of them grow.”
