A set of rivals who clashed at a boxing match that was sold-out signed up for a rematch in the USA and have turned pro.
KSI and Logan Paul shared a majority draw in a fight before 15,000 fans in the Manchester Arena in August 2018 which attracted a live TV audience of one million.
They will meet at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 9 November.
Briton KSI and US celebrity Paul boast roughly 20 million subscribers each.
Even the rematch – to be revealed on streaming agency DAZN – will probably be presented by British promoter Eddie Hearn, whose Matchroom Boxing outfit represents OP Talent, and former world champion Anthony Joshua.
Matchroom say professional turned week after passing medicals and will come face to face again at a media conference in LA on 14 September, with the other from the UK to follow along.
“Finally, after over a year since the rematch, I get to put in the ring once again to fight Logan Paul,” said KSI. “If I’m being honest, I did not fight well at all in the very first battle, and even thenI still managed to draw against him.
“This time I will not make it close, especially now that it’s a professional fight, no head guards along with 10oz gloves.”
Paul explained:”Last battle, KSI could not conquer me with only three weeks of training under my belt. For the last year, while JJ was wasting his time attempting to be a rapper, I’ve been training every single day.”
The initial fight was described by promoters as the”biggest live pay-per-view sports event on the history of the net”.
Hearn admitted his view had shifted after initially believing the notion of this pair fighting at the Manchester Arena had been”awkward”.
“Everything I watched was a happening; a sold-out stadium, over one million PPV buys but more importantly an energy of a new audience into the sport of boxing,” he said,
He promised a”world championship” undercard to the main fight.
