Thailands former world champion Ratchanok Intanon has been cleared of doping when it was discovered contaminated meat was eaten by her.
The 24-year-old ex-world number one was charged with an anti-doping principle breach in May.
But she proved she had eaten meat – a medication that reduces body fat and increases muscle mass.
The Badminton World Federation said that she boreno fault or negligence.
Thus no period of ineligibility has been imposed on her, the governing body said in a statement.
Clenbuterol was found in eight additional samples at which Intanon had eaten, obtained from the barbecue restaurant.
Currently ranked five Intanon won bronze in the World Championships in Basel, Switzerland, in August.
After having a ban after a positive evaluation for a corticosteroid, she had been cleared to compete.
Her team blamed it on a shot for a knee injury, along with also the BWF found no breach had been committed.
