Charlie Nicholas is back with his hottest predictions ahead of the Premier League’s reunite that weekend, including Norwich vs Manchester City, Bournemouth vs Everton and Watford vs Arsenal…
Can Liverpool keep up their ideal start? Can Man City keep up with the speed set by the negative of Jurgen Klopp? Can Arsenal secure a third Premier League win of the season? Former Arsenal and Scotland striker Charlie Nicholas comes back with his predictions for this week’s matches…
You don’t have any reason worry, apart from the harm to Aymeric Laporte perhaps and to check at Man City’s concerns.
Norwich are good going forward – everybody is speaking about Teemu Pukki but Todd Cantwell has started great. They will not be doing this against City, although the full-backs prefer to get large. The Norwich defenders will probably be emptied from Pep Guardiola’s side. The simple fact that Grant Hanley cannot get in the Scotland side tells something to you.
Daniel Farke doesn’t adopt a plan B, which I re – . If you ask 90 per cent of Norwich fans now if they’d rather lose 1-0 and not have a shot on target, or when they would require a 4-1 hammering seeking to open up the game, I believe they would go for the former.
They have to go by a positive aspect, which is the way you examine yourself in it although it is not an embarrassment. Kevin de Bruyne was excellent as was Raheem Sterling within the international break, which explains why I’ll go with this scoreline.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 2-6 (66/1 with Sky Bet)
We are looking at goals for both groups.
In reality, Bournemouth are powerful at home and I am still not convinced with Everton. Marco Silva is two results from a crisis.
Normally, Everton begin cold but they have started alright, although they have to win if we are to find an improvement those soccer games.
Josh King, callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser will all be new after the break, so I will go for a Bournemouth win .
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 2-1 (10/1 with Sky Bet)
Eliminate the mark and watford will appear to cause another angry. They prefer to get physical with Arsenal, therefore they may approach it this way again. With Quique Sanchez Flores coming in it will definitely raise the hosts. I liked him but he didn’t play aggressive. He played very technically.
Are the struggles at the rear capable of competing with the physical side of Arsenal? Assault and the midfield should be strong – if Alexandre Lacazette is fit we’ll be shooting.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 1-3 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
This is a really excellent return set of fixtures. Manuel Pellegrini is a man, and he likes to have a balance.
Jack Wilshere and Mark Noble will be back in. Since is your predictability together with West Ham people are far too enthused about Declan Rice, with plenty of errors and clumsiness there. They do seem to have discovered a man with goals from Sebastian Haller, that poses a existence too.
Aston Villa have enhanced, but they want Jack Grealish to play 10-15 metres higher up the pitch if they’re playing at home, I continue saying it. He’s a pass master however you need it on the halfway point or from the opposition half and not close. The combo of him and John McGinn is difficult for everyone to control. I like Wesley and now I enjoy what Villa have at the moment.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 2-1 (9/1 with Sky Bet)
I am reading this week that there are a few accidents floating around. Steve Bruce’s last away game at Tottenham was a stunning result. Newcastle will be much better suited from home – they don’t understand what their fans will probably do regarding ownership.
I really don’t know whether they’ll go together with the formidable front three or who’ll be match for Liverpool, but in the moment Liverpool look as though they can wash the floor with most teams. You cannot open up against them. Joelinton needs time and won’t get any service. We will observe how structured Newcastle can be in the back – they will have been working hard.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 2-0 (11/2 with Sky Bet)
It’s a cracking match, one that I would like to view. Leicester are visiting with one of the teams I think they could grab. The simple fact is Leicester have started the campaign well, although I am looking at what they have and what they don’t have. This can be a sport where they could open up and sabotage Manchester United.
They will be content, if they play expansively and open afterward. Brendan Rodgers’ side has a form but can counter-attack and are great with the ball. I really don’t know whether Anthony Martial is going to be fit. Marcus Rashford will perform through the center but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s staff will be vulnerable .
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 (6/1 with Sky Bet)
Sheffield United are passionate and dedicated. Chris Wilder is a person of substance when it comes to his players do the job. He fails to take fools. He has no loyalty to the players who will not do the job. You’re in the team, and should you aren’t fulfilling the duties that he needs if you’re doing well. If Nathan Redmond isn’t fit on Saturday, ” I don’t think they have a lot of a hazard ahead, although it is very similar to Ralph Hasenhuttl in Southampton. There are decent qualities in the teams and Sheffield Utd will pin them back but it will be too close to call.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 2-2 (14/1 with Sky Bet)
I have to admit, this is the toughest Super 6 of the year – to be assured that a winner is very generous, since these are tough calls.
Leandro Trossard seems decent up front for Brighton – . Brighton are actually finding a means to get about playing Glenn Murray every game. They need to control the more. Ashley Barnes is a few for most clubs and Burnley have only gone back. Their defence is nice and strong and their midfield is organised, while the Burnley strikers work hard and obtain their rewards. There is a strategy to it. This is another draw for me.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 (5/1 with Sky Bet)
There are tons of folks. They will be checking teams and seeing who may be the potential match-winner and who is fit. It’ll be like that due to the jackpot that is bonded. Jeff must pay out again!
Wolves do well against the big groups. Tammy Abraham has been in shape and Mason Mount has been good. Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez will remain vulnerable in the back and threatens chelsea . I see Wolves beating Chelsea this weekend, and now Wolves would be the group, as many people that are currently talking about Leicester, that could definitely override the trend that is top-six.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 2-1 (12/1 with Sky Bet)
Tottenham are finding it difficult to be strong defensively – 13 league matches were lost by them last year. Crystal Palace performed well because of it and won in Old Trafford. Gary Cahill has enhanced them defensively, and you can view them since these things begin to grow. Tottenham came out behind at home to Aston Villathey blew it they got lucky against Man City therefore it is not looking great right now, and they got beat by Newcastle. It will be another long day to get their fans. It will be a stifled functionality from Palace – it’ll be an awkward day but they’ll get there at the end.
CHARLIE PREDICTS: 2-1 (15/2 with Sky Bet)
