Eddie Hearn has contested whether Tyson Fury can fulfil his ambitions of regaining a world title after accepting’simple’ fights.
Former world champion Fury claims year it will establish a rematch against WBC titleholder Deontay Wilder and faces Otto Wallin on Saturday.
“Fury has simple struggles that nobody is considering,” explained Anthony Joshua’s promoter Hearn. “He assumed to be the best heavyweight on the planet? Nobody is speaking about his fight.
“The fascination in Fury is diminishing. It is nearly a year since he fought with Wilder and what’s happened? Nothing.”
Asked if Fury may be enticed to fight Joshua finally, Hearn stated:”Fury is a rival and is up for a fight, but he’s having battles where he cannot get beaten. His profile will his hunger might also.”
Has been critical of the choice to take on Wallin of Fury.
Joshua stated:”I fought with Wallin as an amateur. [Wilder and Fury] and those type of individuals would be the cream of this crop and shouldn’t be battling. I can’t battle Wallin, ” I don’t think I could ever struggle lower-tier heavyweights.”
Fury defeated Tom Schwarz in 2 rounds in his most recent fight.
Sweden’s Wallin is unbeaten in 21 struggles, and really has been removed from his outcome, a success against his 24, a year Adrian Granat.
“Otto had a fantastic camp and couldn’t maintain a greater physical or mental state,” his promoter Dmitriy Salita told Sky Sports.
“He is coming to shock the world – and he is in the mental state to get it done.”
Wallin explained:”[Fury] can do anything he wants regarding carrying me seriously or not.
“Fury revealed a great chin and a lot of heart in that struggle [from Wilder], but possibly those shots have taken something out of him”
