Thirty-six of MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 prospects are set to take the stage tonight.
The prospects showcase — that functions as a preview of Cy Young Award winners, prospective All-Stars and Gold Glovers — has consistently featured loads of gift. As four of the top five prospects in all of baseball will probably compete in the event, this year is no different.
This year’s game will have some added intrigue because, for the very first time ever, it is going to pit the American League vs. the National League rather than the United States vs. the World.
MLB Network will exclusively televise and MLB.com will live flow the Futures Game at 7 p.m. ET. Jim Callis, Harold Reynolds and greg Amsinger will call the action, together with Heidi Watney. The game will be available to SiriusXM subscribers.
Below are snapshots for each of the 50 players, together with links to scouting video, statistics and reports about MLB Pipeline’s Prospect Watch.
